Partner Program
Partner Program Terms.
These terms apply to applications to, and participation in, the JMG Partner Program. They are the agreement you accept when you submit an application.
Last updated: February 10, 2026
1. What this program is
The JMG Partner Program is a small, manually managed referral program. Approved partners introduce businesses to JMG Group and are credited for those introductions. It is not an affiliate network, a reseller agreement, an employment relationship, a partnership in the legal sense, or an agency appointment. You cannot sign, quote, price or commit to work on behalf of JMG Group.
2. Who can apply
Applications are welcome from past and present clients, creators, professionals and advisors, agencies and freelancers, and individuals with a relevant network. You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter an agreement in your jurisdiction. Applying does not create a partnership and does not guarantee approval.
3. Review and approval
Every application is read by a person. Approval is at JMG Group’s sole discretion and may be declined without a reason being given. Approved partners receive a unique referral link and written confirmation of the next steps by email.
4. How referrals are tracked
Attribution is first-party only. When someone arrives through a partner link, a cookie is set on the JMG Group domain holding a partner code and an anonymous visitor identifier.
- The attribution window is 30 days from the last visit through your link
- No third-party ad-tech, pixels or cross-site tracking are used
- Where two partners could claim the same introduction, the most recent attributed visit applies unless a written agreement says otherwise
- Direct written introductions by email are also accepted, and are recorded manually
What is stored, and for how long, is described in the privacy policy.
5. Compensation
No compensation is implied, promised or owed by applying to or being approved for the program. If an introduction turns into real work, compensation is discussed and agreed in writing, case by case, before that work begins.
- There is no fixed rate, payout table or commission schedule
- Any agreed amount is payable only after the client has paid JMG Group for the relevant work
- Nothing is payable on work that is cancelled, refunded, written off or never invoiced
- You are responsible for your own taxes and for any disclosure your own clients, employer or regulator requires
6. How you may represent the program
You may say that you refer work to JMG Group and share your referral link honestly. You may not:
- Describe yourself as an employee, agent or authorised representative of JMG Group
- Make claims about pricing, timelines, results or guarantees on our behalf
- Bid on JMG Group brand terms in paid search, or use the brand in a misleading domain, profile or handle
- Use spam, unsolicited bulk messaging, incentivised clicks, cookie stuffing or automated traffic
- Refer businesses without their knowledge, or share their information with us unlawfully
Use of the JMG Group name and marks is permitted only for accurate, factual reference to the program, and may be withdrawn at any time.
7. Confidentiality
Anything you learn about a prospective client, a project, pricing or internal process through the program is confidential. Do not repeat it or use it for any other purpose.
8. Ending participation
You can ask to be removed from the program at any time by writing to support@jmggroup.ca. JMG Group may suspend or end participation at any time, including for a breach of these terms. Compensation already agreed in writing for work already paid for remains payable.
9. No warranty and limitation of liability
The program is provided as is. JMG Group is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for lost profits or expected referral income. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to amounts actually agreed in writing and owed to you under section 5.
10. Changes to these terms
These terms may be updated. Each version is dated and identified, and the version in force when you applied is recorded with your application. Material changes are communicated to approved partners by email, and continued participation after that means acceptance.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply there. The general website terms also apply to your use of this site.
12. Accepting these terms
Submitting a partner application records your acceptance of this version of the terms, together with the date and time of acceptance. Version identifier: partner_terms_v1. Ready to apply? Return to the partner program.
